Pitt-Greensburg’s athletic teams didn’t waste any time getting back to business this semester and excitement is running high. Head Softball Coach Chuck Myers says he is especially looking forward to the support and closeness between the athletes and staff.
“We’re a tight family,” he said.
He also wants fans and students to come out to support the softball team. The softball field is just across Brinkerton Road from the Academic Village and there will be a double header vs. Saint Vincent Saturday, Oct. 3.
There have been some changes in leadership in Athletics this season. The women’s basketball team, for instance, welcomed new coach Rick Klimchock.
